Does anyone remember the tradition of putting a piece of straw in the Nativity for every good deed?  I did this as a child and to this day, it stays with me.  Why not start doing this with your family?  You are never too old for traditions like this.  “Unless you become like a little child…” Do you remember any other old Advent traditions?
